In 1999 a group of teenagers had a vision of a 3d virtual world where they could meet their friends online, chat, play games, share experiences.
Knowing exactly what their age group wanted, they designed and developed the first virtual world for teenagers - called Dubit - and in six months it attracted half a million kids from around the world, all in the days of dial-up internet. What we see now taking form in the Metaverse is the realisation of the dreams our founders had, and we are delighted to be a part of its growing appeal.
By keeping young people at its heart through constant research, Dubit has grown into one of the largest kids digital consultancies, counting 100 staff across the studio. With offices in the UK and US, Dubit works closely with brands around the world such as Facebook (Meta), Disney, and Hyundai - over the past two years launching several brands into Roblox.
Most of our clients have been with us for years and have become our friends, but our real joy lies in watching millions of kids use our products - it’s our measure of success.
